On the morning of December 10, the unveiling ceremony for the Command Space of Jinan University's Media Convergence Center and a joint meeting with its branch centers were held in the School of Management. Chen Ying, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the Command Space with relevant department heads.

Attendees first toured the newly operational Command Space. At the ceremony, Chen Ying recognized the progress made in the university's media convergence development and outlined key directions for future work: first, to enhance overall coordination and fully utilize the Command Space; second, to focus on content innovation and build distinctive media brands reflecting Jinan University's character; third, to strengthen team development and foster a sustainable media ecosystem; fourth, to leverage the university's unique role as an institution for overseas Chinese and explore new approaches in international communication. She emphasized the importance of keeping pace with media integration trends, improving coordination, and collectively sharing the Jinan story to elevate the quality of campus media convergence.

Chen Long introduced the functional positioning of the Media Convergence Center Command Space and the implementation plan for collaboration with branch centers. He explained the working philosophy of "centralized coordination by the main center, collaborative action by branch centers, and matrix-based dissemination," as well as the respective roles of the main and branch centers. He expressed commitment to advancing campus media convergence to support the university's development with a positive communication environment.

Ou Xiangli, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, and Yan Qing, Vice Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, shared their units' experiences, distinctive practices, and insights on media convergence development.

The event marks the official launch of the Media Convergence Center Command Space, which aims to further integrate campus media resources and enhance communication effectiveness.
