On December 10, Xing Feng, President of Jinan University and Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, led a delegation on a visit to Fudan University. The visit focused on thematic exchanges regarding personnel system reform and preparations for 120th-anniversary celebrations. The delegation was received by Jin Li, President of Fudan University and Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

During the symposium, President Xing Feng expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Fudan University. He provided a brief overview of Jinan University's history, its current development, and the longstanding connections and collaborative exchanges between the two institutions.

President Jin Li extended a welcome to the visiting delegation. He shared insights into Fudan University's practical experiences in advancing reforms related to its tenure-track faculty system and in organizing its upcoming 120th-anniversary events.

The discussion subsequently delved into topics of mutual interest, including the management mechanisms between university and school/department levels, as well as the reform of evaluation systems.

The Jinan University delegation included Meng Xianjun, Director of the Office of the Party Committee and Administration, and Gu Shiqian, Director of the Human Resources Development and Management Department. Participating from Fudan University were Xu Jun, Member of the University Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean of Shanghai Medical College; Chen Jian, Director of the University Office; Xiong Yihan, Director of the Personnel Department; and Xu Xiaoyin, Director of the Party and Government Office of Shanghai Medical College.
