During their mission, the medical team provided essential care to 6,305 patients, performing 313 surgeries, including seven life-saving procedures, and conducting 2,391 sessions of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion. Their exceptional medical skills and commitment to patient care earned them thank-you letters and 17 banners from organizations, including UNESCO.
Reflecting on their year-long journey, the team left for Ghana on March 7, 2024, composed of 11 dedicated members, including specialists from various medical fields, a translator, and a chef. After undergoing comprehensive training, they arrived at the China-Ghana Friendship Hospital in Accra to begin their aid mission.

Many patients suffered from untreated conditions, leading to devastating outcomes, such as blindness from cataracts and preventable deaths from appendicitis.
