Jinan University, [January 26, 2025] – The Jinan University Overseas Chinese Federation (OCF) held its 2024 Summary Conference and Spring Festival Reception on January 13th, bringing together nearly 200 members to celebrate accomplishments and look forward to 2025.

The event was attended by prominent figures including former Vice President Huang Xuhui, Honorary Chairmen Liang Zhongjing and Lin Weinong, and representatives from provincial and district Overseas Chinese Federations. Liang Zhongjing, Luo Ding and Wu Chuanbin provided funding and support for the event.

Liang Zhongjing commended the OCF's work and expressed gratitude to its members, while Liang Yan emphasized the OCF's vital role in the university's united front efforts. She noted its success in fostering connections with the overseas Chinese community, earning it the title of Advanced Collective of Jinan University United Front in 2024.

Wu Chuanbin presented a report on the OCF's activities, highlighting its work in organizational development, cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and community service. Lin Wenxing reported on the financial work of the OCF in 2024. Lin Weinong and Luo Ding also delivered speeches, extending New Year greetings to the attendees.

The celebration featured performances by OCF members, including a vibrant dance and song by Zhu Hongying that showcased the diverse culture of overseas Chinese communities. The event fostered a spirit of unity and progress, reflecting the values of the Jinan University OCF.
