Jinan University achieved remarkable success at the recently concluded 9th Guangdong University Network Media Exhibition Festival, with 11 award-winning works, including 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 4 third prizes. The university was also honored with the Excellent Organization Award for its exemplary participation.

Hosted by the Education Department of Guangdong Province, this year’s festival invited universities to create and showcase projects under the theme Youth Gifts to the Strong Country with Me. Following expert evaluations, five significant projects were recognized: the Yueyi Light and Shadow visual works exhibition, the Yueyi Color animation exhibition, the Yueyi Culture online cultural exhibition, the Yueyi Innovation creative exhibition, and the Yueyi Music Learning educational exhibition. In total, 20 first prizes, 50 second prizes, and 100 third prizes were awarded, alongside 20 excellent organizational awards.

In preparation for the event, the school's publicity department actively mobilized participation, resulting in nearly 100 submissions from various groups within the university. Following a thorough review process, 24 works were recommended to the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. The festival provided a platform for these selected works to be showcased, highlighting the depth of campus culture and the innovative use of network media communication techniques by both students and faculty.

Looking ahead, Jinan University plans to further enhance the development of network culture and explore new techniques for ideological and political education online. The university aims to foster vibrant contributions to campus culture by encouraging greater involvement from teachers and students in the creation and dissemination of quality network media content.
