On November 21, Jinan University’s Panyu campus hosted the Creating Future series of recruitment activities aimed at Taiwan students in Guangdong. Organized in collaboration with the China Strait Talent Market, the event catered to students of all grades looking to explore career opportunities. Notable attendees included Zhang Xiaosi, Director of the Longyan Work Department at the China Strait Talent Market; Xiao Yong, Third-Level Researcher from the Fujian Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Li Yang, Director of the Student Employment Guidance Center; Huang Xiaohua, Deputy Director; and Wang Xuefei, Deputy Secretary of the Panyu Campus Management Committee. College counselors and representatives from state-owned enterprises in Fujian also participated.

During the symposium for Taiwan student representatives, Wang Xuefei welcomed the recruitment initiatives from the China Strait Talent Market, the Fujian Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and provincial state-owned enterprises. Officials from these organizations engaged in discussions with students and counselors on various topics, including career planning, employment activities, and interpretations of employment policies. Students actively participated by posing questions, which were addressed by representatives from the China Strait Talent Market.

At the Fujian Province Employment Policy Promotion Conference, Liu Wenhang, a talent introduction representative from Fujian Metallurgical (Holdings) Co., Ltd., shared his work experiences in Fujian with the students and highlighted the province's employment policies. His insights helped Taiwan students grasp potential career development pathways in Fujian, resonating with many attendees. Following the lecture, students moved to the recruitment venues located at the library’s east and west squares, where they had the opportunity to directly connect with potential employers and discuss job prospects.

The recruitment event featured participation from 41 state-owned enterprises across Fujian Province, offering over 100 tailored internship and employment positions specifically for Taiwan youth. More than 100 Taiwan students attended, engaging in face-to-face conversations with recruitment managers to gain a deeper understanding of company cultures and job requirements.
This initiative reflects Jinan University's commitment to fostering career opportunities for its Taiwan students in Guangdong, helping to bridge academic and professional pathways.
