The conference gathered over 450 representatives from countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, among others. Participants engaged in discussions on cutting-edge topics, including nanophotonics, integrated photonics, metamaterial optics, optical imaging, and nanomanufacturing. The program included 5 main conference reports, 34 invited talks, 25 flash reports, and 114 poster presentations, showcasing a wide array of research in photon technology.
Distinguished scholars presented compelling talks, including Michal Lipson from Columbia University, Laura Na Liu from the University of Stuttgart, and several other authoritative figures in the field. Young researchers from institutions like Washington University in St. Louis and Peking University shared their latest findings during the flash report sessions.
A significant feature of the conference was the meeting with editors from the Nature journals, which provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with experts about journal submissions, enhancing the experience for young researchers and students.
The conference also recognized outstanding contributions with its Best Posting Report Awards, presenting a total of 35 prizes to deserving participants.
At the closing ceremony, both Rachel Won, representing the Nature journals, and Guan Baiou, Chairman of the conference organizing committee, expressed gratitude to all contributors, presenters, and attendees for their participation and support, marking the conference as a resounding success in advancing discussions on photon technology.
