This research elucidates the crucial role of bismuth metal atoms and nitrogen/oxygen non-metal atoms within multi-coordinated doped carbon carrier structures. These findings are significant as they demonstrate how these elements contribute to achieving high capacity and long cycle life in potassium ion half/full cells, advancing the field of potassium storage technology.
Li Hongyan is the sole corresponding author on this paper, reflecting both individual and collaborative efforts within the research team. The study has received support from prominent funding bodies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Guangzhou Basic and Applied Basic Project, underscoring the importance and relevance of this research.
