Professors Deng Zilan and Li Xiangping from the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering have recently published a special review paper titled Advances on Broadband and Resonant Coastal Metasurfaces in the Nature Collaboration Journal - Nanophotonics. The paper highlights significant advancements in the research of broadband and resonant chiral metasurfaces, showcasing their potential applications in various photonic technologies.

In this collaborative work, Professors Li Xiangping and Deng Zilan serve as the corresponding authors, while graduate students Deng Qianmei, Li Xin, and Hu Mengxia are recognized as co-first authors.
Author Introductions:
- Prof. Deng Zilan has dedicated her research to micro-nano photonics focused on metasurfaces, contributing extensively to the fields of metasurface polarization optics and metasurface grating diffraction optics, with multiple publications in high-impact journals including Nature Communications and Phys. Rev. Lett.
- Prof. Li Xiangping specializes in nano optics, metasurfaces, laser processing, and optical storage. Honored with the Outstanding Youth Project award from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2023, he has led numerous national and provincial research initiatives and has an impressive publication record of over 150 SCI indexed papers, amassing more than 8000 citations and an H-index of 47.
