The team led by Bi Wei and Zou Jing from the First Affiliated Hospital has recently published a research paper titled Association between Environmental Phthalates Exposure and Gut Microbiota and Metabolome in Demand with Lewy Bodies in Environment International, a leading journal in the field of environmental science.

The First Affiliated Hospital is recognized as the primary completion unit for this study. The co-first authors of the paper include Dr. Deng Zhe from the First Affiliated Hospital, Deputy Chief Physician Li Ling from the University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital, and Deputy Chief Physician Jing Zhen from the First Affiliated Hospital. The co-corresponding authors are Assistant Researcher Zou Jing and Professor Bi Wei. This research was supported by various projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Project, and the Guangdong Provincial Medical Research Fund.
