On June 14th, Shi Shanshan, Vice Dean of the School of Business at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, led a delegation to visit the School of Management. Accompanying her were Wei Rui, Head of the Department of Finance, and Cai Zhenhao, First Level Assistant Course Manager of Lingnan University’s School of Business. The visit was attended by Dean Li Wenjing, Vice Presidents Ling Zishan and Qi Jun, along with colleagues from the MBA, EMBA Center, and International Department of the School of Management.

Dean Li Wenjing warmly welcomed the delegation from Lingnan University, providing insights into the recent initiatives undertaken by the School of Management, particularly in the Inclusive Finance and Digital Economy Research Center. He expressed a strong desire for collaborative projects that would leverage both institutions' strengths.

Vice President Ling Zishan elaborated on the ongoing cooperation projects between the two schools, emphasizing the importance of achieving complementary advantages and coordinated development to spur high-quality growth for both institutions.

The discussions between Shi Shanshan, Wei Rui, and representatives from the School of Management were comprehensive, covering various crucial topics including the doctoral exchange program, enrollment of scientific master's degree students, conversion of project credits, and the establishment of regional joint forums. A consensus was reached on enhancing the cooperative curriculum system as a result of these in-depth exchanges.

Since signing the memorandum of cooperation in 2022, both the School of Management and Lingnan University Business School have been actively exploring diverse avenues for cooperation, aiming to integrate their strengths. This negotiation meeting has further solidified the core concept of collaborative education, facilitated the development of theoretical and practical teaching courses, and effectively advanced the implementation of joint projects.
