In a concerted effort to fortify education evaluation methodologies in alignment with the evolving landscape of academia, Jinan University convened a joint work conference aimed at deepening reforms in education evaluation in the new era. Spearheaded by the Human Resources Development and Management Office, the symposium, held on July 3rd on the Shipai Campus administrative building, saw active participation from key stakeholders dedicated to driving transformative changes in educational assessment methodologies.
Under the astute guidance of Vice President Zhang Ronghua, the session witnessed deliberations that underscored the pivotal role of continuous improvement and innovation in education evaluation practices. Working group members presented comprehensive assessments of the progress, efficacy, and practical learnings gleaned from the implementation of the Overall Plan within their respective spheres of influence. Through a robust exchange of insights and ideas, participants delved into the exploration of future pathways and strategic initiatives to further magnify the impact of educational evaluation reforms.
In his remarks, Zhang Ronghua accentuated the imperative of sustained commitment and multifaceted engagement in advancing the ethos of educational evaluation reform. Emphasizing the need for a cohesive approach, he articulated a roadmap for member units to galvanize efforts in executing diverse tasks aimed at bolstering educational evaluation practices across diverse operational domains. Furthermore, he underscored the strategic significance of distilling and amplifying the successes of past reform initiatives while diligently addressing emerging challenges and leveraging best practices from peer institutions.
The august assembly witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries from various administrative departments, including the Party and Government Office, Organization Department, Teacher Work Department, Academic Affairs Office, Teacher Development Center, Graduate School, Research Offices, Development Planning Office, Student Services, and Education College. Each participant shared valuable insights and perspectives, underscoring the collective commitment towards fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in education evaluation practices.
Through such collaborative initiatives and knowledge sharing platforms, Jinan University remains steadfast in its resolve to embrace progressive reforms and propel educational assessment practices into a new era of innovation and excellence.
