The research team led by Professor Guan Heyuan, Associate Professor Yang Tiefeng, and Professor Lu Huihui from the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Jinan University has recently achieved significant progress in the area of heterogeneous hybrid integrated optoelectronic devices. Their latest research paper, titled Efficient Electrical Extraction of Nonlinear Response and Large Linear Dynamic Range Implementation in MoS2/BaTiO3 Hetero Integrated Photodetector, has been published in the prestigious journal Laser & Photonics Reviews with an Impact Factor of 11.0.

This groundbreaking work introduces a novel approach to optoelectronic detection by integrating ferroelectric thin films and two-dimensional semiconductors, resulting in high-performance optoelectronic devices. The research not only advances the field of optoelectronics but also demonstrates the potential of heterojunction integration for future device development.
The study has garnered support from various key research programs including the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Major Special Project, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Outstanding Youth Fund, the Guangdong Provincial International Cooperation Project, and Jinan University.
