In a resounding achievement, Jinan University once again demonstrated its innovative prowess by securing four gold awards at the 14th Challenge Cup Guangdong University Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition. The event, co-organized by various prestigious bodies including the Provincial Youth League Committee, highlighted the university's commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent and creativity among its students.

Led by Sun Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan University, the school delegation showcased 20 outstanding entries, garnering accolades that included 7 silver medals and 9 bronze medals alongside the coveted Winning Cup. Noteworthy is the collaborative effort of 10 award-winning teams comprising mainland students, as well as students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign countries.

During the finals, esteemed figures such as Luo Xiwen, an academician of the CAE and director of the competition review committee, Ran Bo, secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, and Fan Chun, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, visited the exhibition area showcasing Jinan University's entries. Engaging with the student representatives, they provided guidance on incubating and implementing the projects while emphasizing the significance of overseas Chinese schools in contributing to China's modernization drive.

The university's proactive approach to the Challenge Cup competition was evident in the meticulous preparation for the event. The rigorous selection process, commencing from the school-level competition in January to February 2024, laid a robust foundation for the university's triumphant run at the provincial level. All 11 projects advancing to the finals actively participated in the Guangdong Youth College Students' Hundred and Thousand and Ten-Thousand Project, aligning innovation and entrepreneurship with rural revitalization objectives.

Under the stewardship of the School Youth League Committee and various academic entities, Jinan University provided unwavering support to the participating teams. Through mentorship from experienced educators, comprehensive resources, and a keen focus on enhancing project competitiveness, the university underscored its commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
