The final showdown of the prestigious 2024 National Enterprise Competition Simulation Contest took place at Jinan University's Zhuhai Campus on May 25th. Supported by the Management Discipline Group of the Joint Conference of the China Association for Modernization of Management and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Higher Education Institutions, this event was hosted by the Decision Simulation Professional Committee of the China Association for Modernization of Management, in collaboration with Jinan University's Zhuhai Campus, the School of International Business, the School of Management, and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Economics and Management.

Distinguished leaders and experts from various fields, including Professor Shi Yong of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Qu Ting of Jinan University's Zhuhai Campus Management Committee, and Professor Wang Qiwen of Peking University's Guanghua School of Management, were among the esteemed guests at the event.

Addressing the audience, Qu Ting extended a warm welcome to attendees from all corners of the country, showcasing Jinan University's educational legacy and the growth trajectory of the Zhuhai Campus. She expressed hopes for outstanding performance and breakthroughs from the competing teams.

The finals saw the participation of over 600 students from various universities across eight competition zones. Following a day of intense competition in the enterprise decision-making and operation tracks, 106 teams emerged victorious, claiming the first prize, while 29 teams secured the second prize. Remarkably, winners from each zone were set to receive group scholarships, underscoring the competitive spirit and talent showcased during the event.

In tandem with the competition, a seminar on decision-making simulation research in the digital age aimed to foster exchanges among experts and educators from diverse academic backgrounds. Wu Jing, Dean of Jinan University's School of International Business, emphasized the integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and the development of cutting-edge decision-making simulation platforms.

At the closing ceremony, Xu Gang, representing the organizing committee, extended congratulations to the winning teams and expressed gratitude to all contributors. Professor Ren Xiaoyang underscored the importance of translating competition experiences into personal growth and learning opportunities for the future.
The event marked a significant milestone in the realm of business simulation, with participants drawn from a pool of over 20,000 teachers and students representing 518 universities nationwide. The rigorous selection process culminated in 135 teams from 126 universities advancing to the national finals, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication prevalent in the higher education landscape.
