In commemorating International Children's Day, Jinan University Affiliated Kindergarten and Primary School organized a series of festive activities on May 31st, showcasing a vibrant celebration of childhood and learning. The day commenced with the Young Pioneers joining ceremony and a cultural performance at the primary school, while the kindergarten hosted a delightful Children's Day buffet lunch activity. Vice Principal Zhang Xiaoxin graced the occasion with his presence, extending warm wishes to the young participants.

Expressing heartfelt greetings to all children within the Jinan University family, Zhang Xiaoxin also acknowledged the dedication of educators and parents in nurturing the younger generation. Emphasizing the institution's commitment to fostering the holistic development of children, he encouraged students to embrace aspirations, love learning and work, cultivate gratitude and kindness, embrace innovation, and strive for excellence, embodying values crucial for success in the modern era.

At the kindergarten, Zhang Xiaoxin and his delegation toured the classrooms, engaging with children partaking in the festive buffet. They conveyed blessings for happiness and growth while presenting thoughtful holiday gifts. The kindergarten had previously organized a range of celebratory events, including parent-child activities and joyful gatherings, aiming to involve parents in sharing the joy of childhood festivities.

Meanwhile, at the primary school, the atmosphere was electrifying as 87 first-year students, adorned with bright Young Pioneers flags, took their oath before parents as part of the Young Pioneers joining ceremony. This was succeeded by a captivating theme performance titled Five Education Achievements Together, Childlike Heart Building Dreams for the Future. The program featured enthusiastic presentations such as singing, dancing, musical performances, martial arts displays, recitations, and dramatic showcases, divided into segments like Happy Sailing, Colorful Childlike Dreams, Flying Childlike Heart, and Future Painting Scroll, drawing applause and laughter from the audience.

Distinguished guests, including heads of various university departments and colleges, adorned with Young Pioneers' red scarves, joined retired teachers from affiliated primary and secondary schools as well as parents of students in witnessing the kids’ performances at the primary school, further enhancing the spirit of unity and joy in celebrating childhood and education.

The International Children's Day celebrations at Jinan University Affiliated Kindergarten and Primary School not only encapsulated the essence of joy and camaraderie but also underscored the institution's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals with a blend of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and practical development.
