The 23rd International Cultural Gathering in Jinan event at Jinan University has concluded, marking a successful celebration of cultural diversity and exchange among students from various countries and regions. Hosted at the Panyu Campus of Jinan University, the event featured a range of activities and speeches that highlighted the importance of cultural integration and collaboration.

Sun Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan University, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the event's role in promoting cultural exchange and unity among students. He encouraged participants to embody the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, strengthen cultural confidence, and serve as ambassadors of cultural exchange to spread traditional Chinese culture globally.

Key contributors such as Ouyang Yongen from Macao of China, Li Xiaoyang from Mongolia, Ou Ruijiang from the Philippines, and Tu Lianni from Indonesia shared their experiences and insights on the Belt and Road Initiative, underscoring the initiative's impact on cultural understanding and cooperation.

The event also featured captivating performances by the student art troupe and the Chinese Language and Culture Institute, showcasing diverse ethnic traditions and enhancing the attendees' appreciation of international cultures.

Following the official launch, Sun Yu and other distinguished guests visited the Belt and Road national characteristic booth, further emphasizing the significance of the initiative in fostering global connections.

Zhang Jiexin, a Chilean overseas Chinese from the School of Basic Medicine and Public Health, praised the event for its role in broadening horizons and promoting cultural understanding.
