The pivotal moment arrived in June 2023 when Huang Xu received the long-awaited call from the Zhuhai Red Cross Society, informing him of a successful match with a blood disease patient in dire need of hematopoietic stem cells. Undeterred by the uncertainties and challenges that lay ahead, Huang Xu exhibited unwavering resolve and immediately consented to undergo the donation process, embodying the ethos of selflessness and solidarity that define acts of humanitarianism.
