Jinan University Hosts 2nd China Digital Economy Development Forum, Driving Innovation and Collaboration

Jinan University's Zhuhai Campus was abuzz with intellectual fervor as it hosted the second China Digital Economy Development Forum. This prestigious event, aimed at fostering high-level academic discourse, delved into the realms of the digital economy while advocating for its seamless integration with the real economy.

Distinguished figures like Li Haijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Institute of Quantitative Economy and Technological Economy at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized the imperative of propelling the digital economy towards high-quality development and steering China towards modernization through innovative productivity.
Gu Naihua, the vice president of Jinan University, underscored the institution's proactive stance in shaping the landscape of digital economy and artificial intelligence disciplines. He expressed aspirations for leveraging the forum to amplify the scope and depth of research in the digital economy domain.
With a staggering 388 submissions, the forum showcased 52 meticulously curated papers, spanning across 8 parallel forums addressing pivotal themes like Digital Government and Digital Economy Policy, Platform Economy and Digital Governance, and Digital Economy, Green Innovation, and Big Data. Authors presented their groundbreaking work, sparking engaging discussions among scholars on the significance of their research methodologies.
The face-to-face exchange meeting of the journal provided insights into the stringent selection criteria, evaluation mechanisms, and novel publication strategies for esteemed journals like Quantitative Economics, Technical and Economic Research, and Chinese Economics. Participants also delved into practical aspects such as effective paper writing and submission practices.
The overarching goal of this year's China Digital Economy Development Forum was to establish a collaborative platform fostering profound exchanges of academic ideas and scientific breakthroughs. By encouraging mutual learning and cross-institutional referencing, the forum aimed to decipher the evolving trends in the digital economy landscape, propelling theoretical advancements and the overall digital transformation of China.
