In a significant development, Wang Hongwei, Director of the Guangzhou Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau, led a delegation to Jinan University on April 26th, 2024, for a productive exchange and discussion session. The symposium, attended by President Xing Feng and Vice Presidents Zhang Xiaoxin and Gu Naihua, served as a platform for fruitful deliberations on the spatial development challenges faced by the university.

During the symposium, representatives from various departments, including the General Affairs and Logistics Management Department, Infrastructure Department, and the First Clinical Medical College, highlighted the obstacles and issues impeding the school's current spatial development. Wang Hongwei acknowledged the pivotal role of Jinan University within Guangzhou's higher education landscape and underscored the city's commitment to optimizing the university's campus space.

Expressing Guangzhou's keen interest in enhancing Jinan University's development space, Wang Hongwei put forth practical ideas and strategies to support the optimization and improvement of the campus environment through collaborative planning efforts at the city and district levels.
