On April 13th, Liu Benli, Executive President of the Macau Alumni Association of Jinan University, led a delegation comprising over 30 alumni representatives from various Macau alumni organizations to their alma mater for a comprehensive discussion on the progress and future direction of alumni work. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the alumni community and the university, fostering collaboration and mutual support.

The symposium, attended by Academician Xing Feng, President of Jinan University, and Professor Hong An, Vice President, provided a platform for expressing gratitude and acknowledging the pivotal role of alumni in the school's legacy. President Xing Feng emphasized the significance of alumni as ambassadors of the institution, highlighting the school's commitment to nurturing talents and providing ongoing support to graduates as they navigate their professional journeys and contribute to society. He underscored the importance of continued engagement with alumni for the advancement of both parties.
Vice President Hong An extended a warm welcome to the delegation, acknowledging the longstanding support and dedication of the Macau Alumni Association towards the alma mater's growth and development. She emphasized the spirit of unity and collaboration exhibited by the alumni, expressing optimism for future partnerships that would benefit both the university and the alumni association in advancing educational initiatives and contributing to the Greater Bay Area's integrated development.
Liu Benli provided an overview of the Macau Alumni Association's endeavors, highlighting its role as a bridge between Macau and Jinan University. The association's commitment to fostering connections, sharing resources, and promoting the values of excellence and unity was lauded as a testament to the strong bond between alumni and their alma mater.
During the visit, Zhang Junjian, Vice Chairman and Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Macau Alumni Association, presented a comprehensive report on the association's achievements and activities over the past 38 years. Alumni representatives actively engaged in discussions on various fields such as healthcare, law, technology, and community service, showcasing their contributions to Macau's societal progress and the Greater Bay Area's development.

The visit also included a tour of the Jinan University History Museum and the Four Seas Art Space, allowing alumni to reconnect with the university's heritage and appreciate cultural exhibits. The delegation also participated in the 20th Macau Cultural Festival, highlighting the rich cultural exchange between Macau and Jinan University.
