In a significant stride towards advancing expertise and collaboration in key academic domains, Jinan University has proudly announced the appointment of four esteemed faculty members to key field collaboration groups. The Ministry of Education's Management Office of Key Teaching Resource Construction Projects recently issued a notice, highlighting the selection of four distinguished teachers, including Dean Yang Guanghua from the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering/School of Artificial Intelligence Industry, as experts in these pivotal groups.

The initiative, aimed at bolstering the expert team in crucial fields, underscores the university's commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across diverse disciplines. By inviting academic professionals and industry experts from universities nationwide to contribute to the development of key field knowledge graphs, teaching resources, new courses, and textbooks, the Ministry of Education has embarked on a new phase of expert recruitment for key field cooperation groups. Following a rigorous review process by the expert working group, a total of 135 new experts in key areas of collaboration have been appointed nationwide, reflecting a concerted effort to enhance academic excellence and innovation.

The appointed faculty members bring a wealth of expertise and experience to their respective roles within the key field collaboration groups. Dean Yang Guanghua specializes in the field of Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, while Secretary of the Party Branch Zhou Yuyu contributes to the Special Group on New Textbooks and Digital Teaching Methods. Vice Dean Zheng focuses on Artificial Intelligence Experiments, and Deputy Director Liu Xiaoxiang of the Management Committee of Jinan University Zhuhai Campus specializes in machine learning.

The selection of these college teachers as experts in key field collaboration groups underscores the university's robust faculty strength and underscores its innovative approach to education, industry integration, and industry alignment.
