The collaborative efforts of a multidisciplinary team led by Guo Tuan, a researcher from the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Jinan University, Professor Shi Lei from the School of Pharmacy, and Chief Physician Bi Wei from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, have resulted in groundbreaking research on the early detection of Alzheimer's disease. Guo Tuan's research group, with a focus on mechanism innovation and technological applications of advanced fiber optic sensors in biomedical and new energy security detection, has a prolific publication record in renowned journals such as Nature Communications, Light: Science & Applications, and Advanced Optical Photonics. Their contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including from the IEEE Institute of Instrumentation and Measurement Science and Technology. The team has received funding from various sources, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Key Project, the National Excellent Youth Fund Project, the Guangdong Provincial Key Project, and the Clinical Frontier New Technology Project of Jinan University Affiliated First Hospital.
