Recently, a rural revitalization practice team comprising teachers from Jinan University's Party Committee Propaganda Department and student journalists embarked on a themed interview and research expedition to Shixing County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. The team's mission was to explore and showcase the experiences of the Double Hundred Action rural revitalization paired construction work, demonstrating Jinan University's commitment to this initiative through multi-dimensional visits and in-depth interviews.

During their four-day itinerary, the practice team visited Shixia Village, Dungang Town, and Aizi Town in Shensuo Town, meticulously documenting the local cultural customs, tourism resources, and characteristic products. They gained profound insights into Jinan University's assistance team's work philosophy and implementation effectiveness, engaging in meaningful exchanges with local township cadres and villagers to assess the tangible achievements and future prospects of the assistance work.

Since August 2023, Jinan University has partnered with Shixing County, leveraging its disciplinary advantages, talent resources, and alumni network to focus on industrial upgrading, urban-rural construction planning, and collective economy, among other areas of cooperation and joint construction in the county.

Xia Yi, the leader of Jinan University's assistance team in Shixing, emphasized the importance of thorough investigation and research to ensure the long-term and effective implementation of the joint construction project. He underscored the significance of leveraging Jinan University's strengths to inject new momentum into promoting rural revitalization and fostering high-quality development in the county.

The practice team's efforts culminated in a series of promotional outcomes and the formulation of practical planning for the next steps. Participating student Wu Siyuan expressed a deepened understanding of Shixing and a resolute commitment to contributing to its development, highlighting a determination to support rural revitalization through practical actions.

Su Qianyi and Chen Guoqiong, the leading teachers of the practice team, emphasized the aim of using propaganda power to explore universities' work experiences in advancing the Double Hundred Action. By immersing themselves in the countryside, learning about the local situation, and collecting promotional materials, the team provided targeted directions for subsequent assistance, fostering personal growth among the student journalists involved in the initiative.

The success of this endeavor has sparked significant interest, with over 80 teams applying to participate in the 2024 Winter Vacation Three Down to the Countryside Social Practice Activity and the Million and Ten Thousand Project Assault Team Action. Notably, 24 professional and distinctive social practice teams have been identified as key teams at the school level, covering diverse fields such as agricultural technology assistance, rural landscape renovation, and agricultural live streaming sales assistance.
