On February 26th, the spring semester at Jinan University officially commenced, marking the return of students from across the country to embark on a new chapter of their academic journey. The university placed significant emphasis on the students' return, issuing timely notices of precautions and ensuring that the cafeteria, dormitories, classrooms, library, and other facilities were fully prepared to welcome them back. Each college also paid close attention to the students' mental adjustment and promptly extended care and greetings to facilitate their smooth transition.

Returning to Jinan Garden, students expressed a sense of warmth akin to returning home. Eric ZhangLiao, a Business Administration major from Brazil, shared his delight in reuniting with his roommates and creating a warm and harmonious dormitory atmosphere, likening his experience to returning to his second home. Similarly, Zeng Lichi, an international trade student from Hong Kong, China, was enthralled by the New Year-themed garden set up at the school gate, noting that the blooming flowers added a festive air to the campus, infusing it with the vitality of the new year.
Notably, Deng Qixin, a financial engineering student from Zhongshan, Guangdong, eagerly embraced the changes of the new semester, documenting the appearance of spring couplets in his dormitory and remarking on the campus's festive atmosphere. As the new semester unfolded, students quickly adjusted their lifestyles and learning statuses, harboring diverse expectations and goals for the upcoming academic term.

Deng Qixin expressed his aspirations to use his spare time to enhance his English and high mathematics skills, adopt more effective learning methods, and focus on classroom learning, while also seeking a fulfilling and enjoyable hobby to conclude his freshman year on a high note. Meanwhile, Sun Keyi, a translation major student entering her third year, acknowledged the challenges of postgraduate entrance examinations and internships, resolving to devote herself wholeheartedly to learning and actively engage in practical internship activities to lay the groundwork for her future endeavors.

Similarly, Qiang Yongqi, a clinical major student, set higher GPA goals for the new semester and planned to participate in more practical activities to hone his abilities and broaden his horizons. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and progress, he embraced the new year with enthusiasm and unwavering determination to face future challenges and opportunities.
