In a significant development for the field of immunology, Professor Yin Zhinan has been appointed as the editor in chief of the esteemed international academic journal, Molecular Immunology. The announcement, made by Elsevier Magazine, marks a pivotal moment for Professor Yin, who hails from the Biomedical Transformation Research Institute at JNU.
Established in 1979, Molecular Immunology is a renowned publication that showcases cutting-edge research papers, reviews, and articles spanning various facets of immunology. With an impact factor of 4.174 for the period of 2021-2022, the journal holds a prestigious position within the academic community, being affiliated with the third district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Professor Yin Zhinan, known for his groundbreaking work in areas such as gamma delta T cells, interleukin-27, and neuroimmune interactions, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His prolific contributions to esteemed journals like Nature and Nature Immunology underscore his standing as a leading figure in the field.
Expressing his gratitude for the appointment, Professor Yin Zhinan emphasized his commitment to upholding the journal's standards of excellence.
