Li Huadong, director of JNU's auditing department, has been awarded the honorary title National Advanced Worker in Internal Audit by the China Institute of Internal Audit, according to a notice JNU received on Dec. 5 on the commendation of Advanced Collectives and Advanced Workers in Internal Audit from 2020 to 2022.

National Advanced Collectives and Advanced Workers in Internal Audit are recognized through a national commendation program organized by the China Institute of Internal Audit with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Winners are selected every three years. The program recognizes excellence, sets examples, and inspires internal audit institutions and personnel across the country to enhance their sense of responsibility and professional honor. It encourages them to remain true to their original mission, take proactive roles, carry out internal audit work effectively, and promote the scientific development of the internal audit. The titles are China's highest honor in the internal audit. Altogether, 282 advanced collectives and 311 advanced workers nationwide were honored this year.
