On December 16th, a delegation from Jinan University, led by Lin Rupeng, the Secretary of the Party Committee, visited Shixing County in Shaoguan City. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the third meeting of the Shixing County and Jinan University's Hundred Schools and Hundred Counties Joint Conference to support the Million and Ten Thousand Project. The delegation included 20 leaders from relevant departments and colleges of Jinan University.

During the meeting, attendees reviewed the implementation plan of Jinan University, Guangdong Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College, and Shixing County for the 100 Schools and 100 Counties to Assist in the High-quality Development Project of 100 Counties, 1000 Towns, and 10000 Villages. They also engaged in discussions on refining and implementing the plan.

Several agreements were signed at the subsequent ceremony, including a medical co-construction agreement, a brand co-construction agreement, and agreements for cultural and tourism co-construction. These agreements signify Jinan University's commitment to providing support for Shixing County in various areas, such as talent cultivation, medical capacity improvement, industrial brand creation, and cultural and tourism promotion.

In addition to the signing ceremony, the conference also held unveiling ceremonies for various collaborative bases, aiming to further strengthen industrial development and technological support in Shixing County.

Furthermore, the Guangzhou Jihai Charity Foundation donated 100,000 yuan to Shixing County for the basic education rural teacher cultivation program, demonstrating a commitment to promoting high-quality development of education in the region.

During the visit, Secretary Lin Rupeng and the delegation also explored various sites in Shixing County, including the All Bamboo Home Experience Hall of Guangdong Huali Ecological Technology Development Co., Ltd., the former site of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (North Guangdong Provincial Committee) in Hongwei, the Rural Revitalization Service Center of Shixing County, and Zhouqian Ancient Village, in order to gain a deeper understanding of the county's bamboo industry and cultural tourism industry.

The collaboration between Jinan University and Shixing County marks a significant step towards promoting academic achievements and creating a new benchmark for the Hundred Schools and Hundred Counties to Support the Hundred Million Project.
