Representatives of University College Dublin (UCD) visited JNU on Nov. 24 to discuss cooperation in nursing education. They included Maria Brenner, vice dean of UCD’s School of Nursing; Huang Jie, Greater China admissions manager of the university's Global Center, and Lilla Korbuly, program cooperation officer.

Zhang Xiaoshen, dean of JNU's School of Nursing, spoke on the JNU School of Nursing's development in terms of discipline layout, international cooperation and exchange. He said he hoped the two parties would be in close contact and expand cooperation in joint doctoral training and academic exchanges, creating a broader international training platform. Brenner gave a detailed introduction to the basic information, professional discipline design and cooperative teaching mode of UCD's School of Nursing. Through this visit, she said, she hoped to explore a new cooperation mode and promote exchanges with JNU in joint training of students, scientific research and project cooperation.
During the visit, UCD representatives visited the Workshop of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Culture and the obstetrics department and neonatal wards of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, where they had a discussion with the relevant principals.
