A new Jinan University News Website went online on Dec.7. The new version strives to create a new network platform to serve teachers, students and external publicity, further enriching the site's functions. It highlights new-media and visual communication and enhances the convenience of the service in better spreading the story and voice of JNU.

The new site uses JNU's colors, green and white, as the main tone, and lays out the webpage through color blocks, lines and icons. The news and picture areas complement each other, making the key points outstanding and distinct, thus improving the reading experience and better showcasing JNU’s image. In terms of content design, the new version has optimized and integrated the original columns and launched 11 brand new ones, including JNU News, General News, Special Report, JNU Media, and Teaching and Research, promoting Jinan University in an all-round way.

Fully considering readers’ mobile reading needs, JNU has created a multi-end integration of PC and mobile devices, supporting multiple terminals such as mobile phones and tablets. Content can be adaptively typeset according to the display mode of smart mobile terminals, presenting the best reading effect. Teachers and students can also use their mobile devices to write, submit, revise and review articles, improving the efficiency of news gathering, editing and publication.
