Jiang Guibin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, was specially invited to lecture on Dual Carbon Goals and New Pollutant Management in the Famous Master Lecture Hall series, hosted by JNU's Trade Union for Young Teachers and Staff and organized by the School of Environment and Climate. The lecture took place on JNU's Panyu campus on Nov. 27 on the occasion of the school's establishment.

Jiang explained to the school's 500 teachers and students in attendance the significance and paths of China's achievement of carbon neutrality; the necessity and the long-term goal of new pollutant management; and his thoughts and suggestions on carbon neutrality and new pollution management. He also elaborated on the definition of new pollutants, their current situation in China, and source control and treatment plans.
