The second phase of 18th season of the Innovation Competition, sponsored by the Undergraduate School Academic Affairs Office and organized by the Management School, began on Nov. 2. Seven teams entered on the spot, and one Best Project award, one Most Popular award and two Excellent Project awards were given.
Most Popular: Intelligent Precise Nasal-Brain Drug Delivery Technology
Chen Chuangxin's team from the College of Pharmacy used the nasal-brain pathway to develop precise olfactory drug delivery technology and launched a nasal spray called Nao Si Rui. The team also developed a matching drug monitoring platform to address issues related to monitoring drug efficacy. This platform not only significantly improves the efficacy of patient medication but also provides a clearer understanding of the use of drugs.
Best Project: Comprehensive Treatment of New Pollutants in Leachate from Garbage
Xu Yurui's team from the Institute for Environmental and Climate Research effectively degraded the concentrated leachate from garbage using ultraviolet catalytic wet oxidation technology, achieving comprehensive treatment of leachate from garbage and solving the problem of concentrated leachate treatment.
Excellent Project: Telling Chinese Stories from the Perspective of Youth
Xu Yuqin's team from the College of Journalism and Communication focuses on top global news and showcases China's achievements, collaborating with mainstream media and internet platforms. The team aims to create a bilingual international media communication platform that can tell Chinese stories and spread the Chinese voice comprehensively through social media accounts at home and abroad, striving to show the world the real, three-dimensional China.
Excellent Project: Establishing a New Ecology for In-Car Air Purification
The product developed by Xie Zhihao's team from the College of Environment and Climate is a more systematic, comprehensive and digitized system than existing in-car air purifiers on the market. It can regularly monitor and purify the air inside the car to achieve standard air quality.
