Five new JNU post-doctoral research mobile stations – for law, optical engineering, chemistry, environmental science and engineering, and computer science and technology – have been approved, according to the Notice on Approving the Establishment of 510 Post-Doctoral Research Mobile Stations Including the One for Philosophy of Northeast Normal University (No. 108 of the MHRSS in 2023), jointly released by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Post-Doctoral Management Committee. According to the notice, JNU tied for fourth place in number among universities nationwide. To date, 26 first-level disciplines at JNU have been authorized to offer doctoral programs, of which 24 have been approved to be equipped with post-doctoral research mobile stations, covering Chinese language and literature, applied economics, business administration, law, biomedical engineering and pharmacy. In this context, JNU further promotes horizontal interdisciplinary integration based on the vertical development of disciplines and achieves breakthroughs in the quantity and quality of enrolled post-doctoral talents.
