JNU has been awarded a six-year accreditation validity period in the recertification of Higher General Education Accreditation for International Students in China (HGEAIS). The China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) announced recertifications on Oct. 26 during the 24th China Annual Conference for International Education and Expo in Beijing. JNU is among the first group colleges and universities in Guangdong and the second group in the country to pass the re-accreditation.

JNU Vice President Zhang Hong accepted the certificate from CEAIE President Liu Limin, former vice minister of education.

The recertification, an important part of JNU's talent training for international students in China, signifies national recognition of its achievements in internationalization.
