Jinan University and the Huangshan Municipal People's Government in Anhui Province held the signing ceremony for a comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement on Oct. 19, along with the opening ceremony of JNU's Off-Campus Practical Education Base for College Students and Huangshan School. Lin Yun, secretary of the Huangshan Municipal Committee, and JNU President Song Xianzhong spoke.

As the paramount school for overseas Chinese students, JNU assumed the mission of spreading traditional Chinese culture to the world, Song said. With complementary advantages and the same strategic direction, the cooperation between JNU and Huangshan has a broad prospect, heralding a new start for the win-win cooperation and development of the two sides.

Lin extended a warm welcome to Song's delegation, expressing gratitude to JNU for its care and support for Huangshan's development. She noted that with similar cultures，temperaments and strategic goals, Huangshan and JNU share a broad prospect for cooperation. She said she hoped the signing of the agreement, as a starting point, would promote the two sides' cooperation in cultural communication, tourism, technology, opening-up and talent communication.

During the ceremony, the opening ceremony of JNU's Practical Education Base for College Students and JNU's Huangshan School was also held in She County of Huangshan.
