The JNU Trade Union held a networking event for new faculty and staff members on Sept. 23. JNU Vice President Rao Min, President of the Union, attended. The union's director and about 100 new faculty and staff members participated.

On behalf of the university's administrative leadership, Rao extended a warm welcome to the new faculty members. The networking event is a representative activity of the union to facilitate communication among new faculty members, promote cross-fertilization of different disciplines, and enable new faculty and staff members to integrate into the university. Rao said she hoped they could live happy lives and make professional achievements that would contribute to the quality development of the university.

By learning and singing the university anthem, admiring the campus scenery and exchanging views, the new faculty and staff members strengthened their sense of belonging, gain and sense of identity as members of JNU.
