A team led by Profs. Zhou Xiaoping and Li Dan of JNU's College of Chemistry and Materials Science has developed an efficient Diels–Alder cycloaddition between peripheral anthracene substituents and various functional motifs bearing a maleimide group, a systematic post-synthetic modification study of PdnL2nmetal-organic cages ( n=12, 2), enabling a variety of different properties and functions. The team has published its findings in Angewandte Chemie, a top-tier chemistry journal in the world. (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,2023, 62, e2022169)
