In a video speech, JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng pointed out that the Alumni Association had 140 alumni organizations on five continents – 60 overseas and 80 in China. Students from the mainland are the builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics, he said; students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are the supporters of one country, two systems, and overseas Chinese students are the transmitters of classic Chinese culture. They promoted JNU's influence and reputation, Lin said, becoming one of JNU's most beautiful and vivid calling cards.
JNU President Song Xianzhong reviewed the development of alumni work in the last 30 years, said he looked forward to future prospects of alumni work and explored the direction of high-quality development of alumni work.
