As the Chinese Spring Festival approached, JNU leaders extended New Year's wishes and greetings to the academicians, professors and representatives of high-level talents in various forms.

On Jan.12, led by JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng, JNU leaders went to Panyu campus to visit Liu Shaochen and Yao Jianping, academicians in the Institute for Environmental and Climate Research and the Institute of Photonics Technology, respectively. On behalf of JNU, Lin expressed to the academicians best wishes for the Chinese New Year, as well as greetings from the Education Commission of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The next day, led by JNU Vice President Zhang Ronghua, school leaders visited Martin G. Banwell, an academician in the Institute for Advanced and Applied Chemical Synthesis. In a cordial talk, Zhang extended New Year wishes to Banwell and conveyed greetings from the Education Commission.
