The Jinan Medical Lindau Youth Science Award and the Young Scholars Forum, jointly organized by JNU’s School of Medicine and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office), on Oct. 12. This forum provides a stage for medical students at JNU to show their academic achievements and carry out exchanges.
The forum established the Lindau Youth Science Award, divided into English and Chinese groups. The top performers in the English group will have the opportunity to represent Jinan University in Lindau, Germany, to participate in top scientific events including the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, founded in 1951, which each year bring together Nobel laureates in the natural sciences and outstanding young scientists from around the world for talks and informal exchanges.
Participants in the forum shared their research achievements. The judges commented and asked questions on their research content achievements and scientific level. The participants and judges of the English group spoke English throughout the process.

After a day of competition, two first prizes, two second prizes, five third prizes and 13 excellent awards for excellence were presented.
