Li's team in JNU's Institute of Photonics Technology and collaborators published their findings in December in Nature Photonics, 15:901 and 2021, the top journal in the optics field. The research has developed a new way to expand the OAM dimension of luminescence to control interactions between light and matter. It has important prospects for application in related fields such as high-capacity information storage and optical encryption.
