JNU held JNU Campus Day, a National Cybersecurity Week event, on all its campuses on Sept. 9. Weng Jian, a JNU vice president and director of cyberspace administration, inspected the activity and provided technical guidance.

This publicity campaign received a strong response from a majority of JNU's teachers and students. They watched publicity videos on cybersecurity and fraud prevention and received publicity leaflets. This event was a response to national calls to raise awareness of cybersecurity and telecommunications and online fraud. It was also intended to make JNU's teachers and students aware that they should strengthen protection of data security and personal information.
