On orientation day, JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng and President Song Xianzhong went to several campuses, including Shipai, Panyu and Guangyuandong, to inspect the orientation work, learn about the freshmen’s arrival, answer parents’ questions on both epidemic prevention and control and campus management, and thank the orientation staff and student and teacher volunteers for their efforts.

To avoid congestion, JNU designed the orientation line in advance and made an overall layout for admission. In accordance with pandemic prevention and control requirements, freshmen coming to register on site had to present their 48-hour nucleic acid certificates, health codes, green codes for their communication travel cards and 14-day’ health attendance record to enter the queuing area and wait for the electric shuttle bus to take them to their dormitories.
