The team of Profs. Li Xiangping and Deng Zilan of JNU's Institute of Photonics Technology have reported important progress in optical metasurface research. Their latest research results, titled “Planar chiral metasurfaces with maximal and tunable chiroptical response driven by bound states in the continuum,” were published on July 15 in Nature Communications. Dr. Shi Tan and Prof. Deng Zilan of JNU and Geng Guangzhou, an engineer in the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, are the first authors of the paper. Deng, Li and Prof. Li Junjie of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are the corresponding authors.
