With a time of 11:67 seconds, Lv Yanlan, a student in JNU's School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), took first place in the women's 100-meter final in the Macao Track and Field Open at Macao Stadium on April 21. She broke her own previous record of 11:81 seconds in the Macao women's 100-meter. She is also the first athlete to have reached the level of national master sportsman in JNU's Su Bingtian Center for Speed Research and Training.

Lv was accepted in 2017 to major in TCM at JNU and was recommended for a master's degree in the school's clinical discipline of Chinese and Western integrative medicine. Being the first athlete formally trained at the Su Bingtian Center,she receives scientific and effective individualized training plans from Su, the Olympic champion known as the Asian Flying Man.
During her school years, Lv has represented JNU in many races and achieved good results for the university. In 2017, she finished second in the women's 100-meter with 12:26 seconds in the 8th Nike University Elite Challenge. In 2018, she clocked 24:73 seconds in women's 200-meter heat with a time of 24:73 seconds in the Asian Games, breaking the Macao women's record of 24:82 seconds. In 2019, she set new records of 11:96 seconds and 24:68 seconds in the university group of 100-meter and 200-meter, respectively, in the 10th Guangdong University Games. In 2021, representing the Guangdong, Lv raced in the women's 4×100-meter relay (university group), the women's 4×400-meter relay (university group) and the women's 100-meter (university group) in the 14th National Student Sports Games of China, winning two gold medals and one silver.
