JNU held its 2022 graduate employment promotion meeting on May 7 to thoroughly implement the decisions and plans of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee and the State Council on stabilizing employment and ensuring employment. JNU Deputy Party Secretary Sun Yu and over 50 people, including the heads of the Student Affairs Office and the Graduate School, attended.

 Sun conveyed the spirit of the conference, held by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Education Department, on the employment of graduates from colleges and universities in 2022. He put forward six suggestions on JNU’s employment work related to graduates: do a good job in the graduates’ employment,  with a high sense of mission; improve the effectiveness of employment guidance; make every effort in the special action of high-ranking administrators  visiting enterprises to expand jobs and promote employment; provide accurate assistance; shoulder responsibility in an all-around manner, all while paying timely attention to students with difficulties graduating and finding employment.  

Chen Xiaoming, director of the JNU Student Career Center, gave a detailed report and analysis on the current employment progress of 2022 graduates. Representatives of some schools exchanged ideas on promoting employment in the next stage.
