Li Jiaming, a member of the Communist Party of China and a member of the 2018 class in software engineering in JNU's School of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, has been listed among 100 representative winners of the National Scholarship for Undergraduates and Junior College Students, according to People's Daily.
The scholarships were established to reward outstanding full-time undergraduate and junior college candidates, encouraging them to study hard, forge ahead and strive to become a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation with all-around moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetical grounding as well as a hard-working spirit. After strict selection and evaluation, 60,000 outstanding students won the 2021 National Scholarship.

Li has won 12 awards at provincial level and above, including the championship of the ASC20-21 Student Supercomputer Challenge and second prize in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
He has won two National Scholarships, one JNU Golden Dragon Fish Scholarship for Innovative Undergraduate Talents, and 15 other JNU honors including Excellent Student, Excellent Student Leader and Excellent Student Representative.
He has published three papers as first author; applied for four patents as first inventor; participated in two national and two university-level innovation projects; and presided over a JNU innovation project for students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.
