An outstanding JNU student ranked first in her undergraduate class all four years, held the honorary title of Outstanding Student of Jinan University and won a first-class scholarship for outstanding students for two consecutive years. She also won the national scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year and received a recommendation for postgraduate study at Sun Yat-sen University in the inorganic chemistry department. She has published two SCI papers and won the gold medal in JNU’s 10th Challenge Cup and the bronze medal in the Internet+ school competition, continuing to march forward on the path of scientific research. She serves as deputy secretary in the undergraduate branch of the College of Chemistry and Materials Science branch of the JNU Party Committee; won the honorary title of outstanding Communist Youth League member in 2018-19; served as secretary of the Sports Department of the Youth League Committee of the Chemical Materials Institute; and played on JNU’s women's basketball team. She is Lie Qiaoshan, an applied chemistry major in the 2018 class in chemical biology innovation.

Outside the laboratory, Lie Qiaoshan is active on the basketball court. Having loved the sport since childhood, she joined JNU’s basketball team early in her freshman year. Despite the pressure of schoolwork and scientific research, she never missed pre-match training.

From the lab bench to the basketball court, from chemical material development to the creation of new e-commerce sectors, Lie is always trying out infinite possibilities and excelling in different fields. Now that she has received a postgraduate recommendation, she says she will continue to work hard and move forward.
