Theory and Methods of Data Security in Complex User Environment,” which won first prize in the Guangdong Natural Science Awards, was led by Prof. Weng Jian in the School of Cyber Security. The project carried out in-depth research on data security protection, the key production factor in the era of digital economy; proposed a new method of security model definition and a new theory of security proof under complex adversary attacks; and designed a series of secure and efficient scalable multi-functional cryptographic plans to protect the security of data.
“Research and Application of Key Technologies in Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment System for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma”, which won first prize in the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Awards, was led by Prof. Zhang Shuixing of the First Clinical Medical College. The project elaborated on three aspects: technological innovation, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, and innovative application It realized quantitative evaluation, accurate prediction and molecular function visualization of nasopharyngeal carcinoma treatment and resistance; established a whole-chain intelligent diagnosis and treatment model of nasopharyngeal carcinoma; and expanded the application to other head and neck tumors, thus improving the homogenization level of their diagnosis and treatment.
