A joint research team consisting of Prof. Lan Yu of JNU's School of Medicine, JNU Chair Prof. Liu Bing of the hematology department at the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital (CPLAGH) and Tang Fuchou, a researcher at Peking University's Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center, has published its breakthroughs in vascular development as a cover paper in Cell Research（IF=25.617）. The same team had jointly published a cover paper in Cell Research in 2020.

The first authors are Hou Siyuan, a doctor of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in JNU's Postdoctoral Research Station; Dr. Li Zongcheng of the Fifth Medical Center of CPLAGH; Dong Ji and Gao Yun, doctors in Peking University's School of Life Sciences; and Chang Zhilin and Ding Xiaochen, doctoral students at the Institute of Military Medicine of Academy of Military Sciences. JNU is the first author affiliation.
